About Kaye O'Neal

Born in Pierre, South Dakota and growing up in Agar, I was raised by parents who had a tremendous work ethic and dependability was the only option.  In the late '70s my brother played basketball for Yankton College, which meant many trips to Yankton to watch the Greyhounds play.  That was my first exposure to the Lewis & Clark Lake area and little did I know then that many years later I would come to make it my home.  In 1982 I moved to Kansas, living and working there for 25 years, working 18 of those years as the Financial Director for a large, non-profit organization that provides services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

My husband Scott's parents built and owned a cabin in the Devil's Nest area in the '70s.  Then in the fall of 1978 Scott enrolled at Yankton College, where he later graduated.  While in college Scott continued to spend time at the property.  Unfortunately, a few years later the cabin was destroyed by a tornado.

In November of 2004 Scott realized a dream of his when he purchased the Cedar Hills, Crofton, lake home, but he continued to reside in Hebron where he managed two cheese plants.  In January of 2006 Scott became a full-time resident at his Cedar Hills lake property.  The lake area became my home in June of 2007 when Scott and I were married in Crofton, Nebraska.

In December of 2007 Scott and I kicked off a new business, Lewis & Clark Cabin Care.  We saw a great need for this type of business so we decided to go for it!  Our first year in business was very successful, and we continue to build upon that success.  A short time after the start of the cabin care business it became apparent to us that establishing a real estate business would be a great compliment to our cabin care business.  My personal philosophy in operating Shore to Shore Realty is to involve my client in the process, which to me means communication, communication, communication.

So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell your home, please contact me.  I'll do my level best to listen to your needs and work with you to achieve your goal.
