 And perhaps the most effective marketing tool of all is the Open House.  The power of word-of-mouth advertising is at work here.  I tailor Open House times to when lake home owners are here as well as to prospective buyers' schedules.  The typical Open House is 45 to 90 minutes long and held on a Sunday afternoon.  Rather than only do what is typical, I hold Open Houses on Fridays and Saturdays with expanded hours, especially during busy summer holiday weekends, the goal being to get the attention of as many people at the Lake as possible.  Networking is definitely a big part of the culture at the Lake! 

 

 Communication.  My goal is to never leave sellers wondering about what is happening with their property.  I set as a high priority to communicate with sellers to keep them informed of showings and the result of those showings, and other pertinent information.
